After her recent directorial project, Steve, extended, it’s been announced that the previously canceled MotherStruck! is back on. Nixon had been set to helm the Staceyann Chin vehicle before the world premiere was recently—and abruptly—postponed. Producers, including Rosie O’Donnell, have now confirmed that MotherStruck! will begin performances on December 4 at Culture Project’s Lynn Redgrave Theater, with opening night set for December 14.Mighty Real Aiming for BroadwayGet ready to funk…on Broadway? Mighty Real: A Fabulous Sylvester Musical, which recently ran off-Broadway, is eyeing a move to the Main Stem. A Kickstarter page has been established for the project, which features music by the legendary performer and a book by Anthony Wayne.
