Matthew “Matt” S. Hummel, 46 of Moores Hill passed away Sunday May 7, 2017 in Dearborn County. Matt was born in Dearborn County, IN August 28, 1970 to George and Rose (Butler) Hummel. Matt was a former RN for Christ Hospital. He enjoyed his animals and collecting antiques and vintage clothing.Matt is survived by devoted mother: Rose Hummel of Moores Hill; brothers: Scott (Amy) Hummel of Moores Hill; Joe (Amy) Ryle of Versailles; uncle: Joe (Sherry) Hummel; 2 nieces: Georgia Hummel and Whitney Rodgers; 4 nephews: Colt Hummel, Brady and Corbin Ryle, and Alex VanHoose; beloved cousin: Angie Rollins; great-niece: Sophia; 4 really good friends: Mike Emery, Mark Lay, Jamie Reynolds, Candi Brewer. He was preceded in death by father: George Hummel and brother: David Hummel, grandparents, cousins and his beloved dogs.Celebration of his life will be May 20, 2017 1PM at his brother Scotts home.
